Women no longer feel the need to rely on law enforcement and their male onlookers for protection. Strong independent women are taking matters into their own hands and practicing self-defense to protect themselves in a world where there is possible danger around every corner. On May 10th 2018 Athlas Training Team Fort Lauderdale will be hosting a special womens and kids self defense class. The class will be taught by Máster Raphael da Silva and Coach Luis Fonzi at 4:30pm. Athlas Training Team Fort Lauderdale will be celebrating an amazing 12 years in buisness and you’re invited! On May 19th, 2018 we will be throwing an outdoor Brazilian-style BBQ at Dania Beach John U. Lloyd State Park. Activities will run from 10:00 am until 4:00pm. Brazilians are extremly family oriented individuals and we enjoy bringing pieces of our culture to our gym family. Every single one of our students is considered a part of our family. Athlas Training Team Fort Lauderdale is happy to announce we will be adding a Friday night boxing class to our schedule starting at 6:30pm. Boxing at our facility is currently held on Monday and Wednesday nights starting at 6:30 for begginers and 7:30pm for more advanced members but due to popular demand we decided to add a third boxing night!
