A Big Congratulations to Amaya!!!
We want to give a huge congratulations to one of our little champs Amaya Mcdermott for her first win at the Orlando Competition.
Amaya is the definition of never giving up. She began training with Master Junior Fernandes in 2015 and has been consistent ever since. This little girl is a total monster during class but her times in competitions have been challenging…
On April 14th, 2018 she had a very nice experience with her first win! We know the losses in the past have made her learn a lot and improve more at her Jiu jitsu game.
We are so proud of her and her parents for never quitting! This is the true definition of a Jiu jitsu-family.

This past spring break her parents put her in the camp here with Master Junior Fernandes in Fort Lauderdale and practiced wrestling, jiu-jitsu, judo, work out and this really stepped up her skills.
