In 2001, the seed was planted to form Atlas Training Team (“ATT”).
The idea of building and training MMA fighters to the highest caliber had been born out of a small, cramped 900 sq. ft. store front academy in Boca Raton, Florida. A small but dedicated group was having great success in the Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and (NAGA) Grappling tournaments throughout Florida. What took root from there, is one of the best MMA teams in the World.

Atlas Training Team quickly outgrew its Boca location and called Coconut Creek, Florida home. The headquarters located in Coconut Creek, is a sprawling, state of the art 20,000 sq. ft. academy and considered the largest MMA academy in Florida and one of the largest in the country.
ATT as it’s commonly referred to, has trained and developed over 80 fighters in the largest Mixed Martial Arts (“MMA”) organizations such as the UFC (“Ultimate Fighting Championship”), WEC, Strikeforce, Bellator, PRIDE, K-1, DREAMS and Sengoku.
That same knowledge, born out of hard work, perseverance, and dedication honed from our professional MMA fight team, has been passed down to our students who train in: MMA, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (“BJJ”), Submission Grappling, Kickboxing, Muay Thai, Boxing, Wrestling, Kids MMA, Women’s Fitness, and Self-Defense.
The Atlas Training Team brand of MMA and jiu-jitsu has spread from South Florida to more than 60 martial arts academies, across 31 states, 3 countries and growing.
Our lineage can be traced back to the legendary Carlson Gracie, where his vision, open-mind, and trademark aggressive attacking style have greatly influenced us.
We bring all of this knowledge to our students where we instruct and train beginners, advanced, kids and adults all with the same desire to help you achieve your goals.
