Keeping Up Your Workout Routine At Home

The recent circumstances we find ourselves in are difficult for many of us, but we here at ATT FTL are choosing to face the problem head-on and adapt to the current situation. Of course, we, like many other businesses have been affected by the recent government-recommended quarantine, but that doesn’t mean that we have to stop learning and exercising, and neither do you!

That’s why we’re happy to announce we will now be offering virtual classes through Zoom with your favorite instructors! That means you can workout in the safety of your own home and join a live class with the friends and teammates you’ve been missing. You’ll get live feedback from your instructors that will allow you to stay sharp and keep the conditioning you’ve worked so hard for.

Why is it important to workout at home during self-quarantine?

Isolation during the social distancing period can be very stressful mentally and have negative health consequences physically. This is especially important in a time where being in a compromised state of health can have dire consequences should we contract the virus. Physical exercise, proper diet and sleep are some of the things we can do to help promote a healthy immune system.

The World Health Organization recommends 150 minutes of moderate intensity or 75 minutes of vigorous-intensity physical exercise per week. This applies to both kids and adults. A home workout is the perfect solution to keep you and your family both healthy and safe.

In addition, if you practice a skill-based martial art like Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Muay Thai or Boxing, it’s important to not only stay physically sharp, but also mentally. You don’t want to lose those skill sets you’ve worked so hard for.

We will be offering a different live home workout class on Zoom everyday with a different instructor. BJJ, Muay Thai, boxing, fitness classes for both kids and adults; we have you covered.

We’re doing our part to adapt to the circumstances and keep you and your family healthy, now it’s time to do yours. Check your email for the Zoom link and tune in for the class of the day. We can’t wait to see you!
